Monument to the peasant uprising.

Memorial of the Peasant Uprising in 1775 with a bronze statue of a peasant. The village rebellion in 1775 was a struggle of Czech peasants against the army in order to free themselves from the collapsing corvee and serfdom duties. It is connected with the activities of the so-called "peasant guberna" led by the rector Antonín Nývltem from Rtyn in Podkrkonoší, who were uniquely rebellious and gave them a common goal. The defeat of the rebellion at the Battle of Chlumec gave rise to the Czech the proverb "to fell as farmers at Chlumec".

Jan Hus 1369  6 July 1415,  was a Czech priest, philosopher, Master, dean and rector at Charles University in Prague, church reformer, founder of Hussitism, a seminal figure in the Bohemian Reformation and a key predecessor to Protestantism.

The last days he spent at Krakovec Castle before leaving for council. By the burning of Master Jan Hus, the Hussite wars were aroused. He is a very important figure of Czech history.

Hi @Myrathor, this is a Monument agaist the war, built in the recent year in Follina, a place of the "Battle of the solstice".
