Hi ,my name is Akmal

i am living and working in Malaysia,as i am working in an environmental company,so the travelling is a part of my job as well as my passion,

WHY I FEEL THE INFORMATION ABOUT PLACES TO STAY IS MORE IMPORTANT TO SHARE ON GOOGLE MAPS?

as i write above travelling is part of my job,so every month i am staying in hotels or home stay,minimum 9 to 10 days,some times its 15 days,

last year we got project in east coast of Malaysia,we booked hotel 3 kilometers away from our project site,which was the only nearest option for us,when i read the reviews about that hotel in maps,i didn't find any detailed review and helpful information there,but no choice..

when we checked in and entered our rooms OMG ,the rooms were badly effected by Mold and fungus, next day we fall sick, we cancelled all meetings,schedule of work and came back home,

postpone our project ,which cost us some amount of money,

i mean to say if we find some helpful detailed reviews there from local guides,we could plan accordingly.

WHY HOSPITALS INFORMATION IS MORE IMPORTANT THEN RESTAURANT?

A friend of mine was on holidays with his family in mountain area,second day of the holiday trip his kids hit by food poisoning,the time was 2 am,

they were new in that area so he used google maps for nearby 24 hour hospitals and clinics,they were lucky enough that the google maps shows a child specialist clinic just 900 meters away,and all the information was accurate (timing,website,pin,category,wheelchair accessibility,and reviews about doctor's reputation)  which was surprisingly great for them,

so if we have all kinds of information about hospitals we could save lives,

i am a level 10 local giude,i started my local guide journey more then 2 years ago,

i hosted 7 meet ups so far and attended around 8 meet ups organised by other local guides 

meet up photos with some best friends and best local guides

  its my good luck that i have some legend local guide friends,so they all guiding me in a correct directions,
