My name is AKMAL

I am a LEVEL 9 local guide,living and working in Malaysia

A small contributor of Google maps since 2016,I have earned 34 badges so far,21 times my answers accepted as solutions,I have started 19 topics (posts)in local guides connect,and I participated in every world wide local guides meet ups,

As I am working in an environmental company we have projects across malaysia, because of my work required,I am travelling a lot of new places every month,wherever I am travelling,I am using Google Maps for navigation,one good day Google Maps asked me about the ratings and reviews, the places I have been there,from that day Google maps is part of my life,my thoughts about the local guides program is,

We are helping our selves and our loved ones,throughout our contribution.

I really feel out of the world,when someone like my reviews.

I was on level 5 (old point system) but I never knew that there's an official community of local guides,name Local guides connect,where we can ask the questions and interact with Googlers, connect moderators,and fellow local guides around the world,who have same passion,as I have,

I joined local guides connect 13 April 2017(my first post was a question) where I became a member of global family ,now after one year,I proudly can say,I have friends from every corner of the world,just because of local guides connect,the last year of my life is the best year ever,in one year I learnt a lot of things about quality mapping and increased my photography skills,

Last one year i hosted 6 local guides meet ups in different cities of malaysia,
