I know that a lot of people are afraid due to the globalization, but this is nothing new and you find already basics of globalization in Museums of the Middle Age (5th - 15th century).
Yesterday I did visit the Munich Residence:
Museum. http://www.residenz-muenchen.de/englisch/museum/index.htm
on Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/U8d9R
Every time I visit this place I believe it is my first time. Not because I have problems to remember, but it is such impressive, that I'm breathless and overwhelmed!
It shows a long history of the Wittelsbacher Dynasty, mainly based in Bavaria (today part of Germany), but in fact it shows the culture all over Europe and partly from Japan, China over Persian to America! It shows it via artworks!
Also for me most impressive is always the Antiquarium there is much more to discover.
I did created a private photo book:

If you are in Munich this is a "must visit"!

@TorM very nice place
I love walking around and discover new places, some places when I back I discover that in my first visit I miss something.
I always think about the people that lived in the place I visited.

Hi @TorM,
The Munich Residence Museum really looks like a place worth a visit.. or a few! 🙂
I've always loved how exquisite and beautiful museums, palaces, and churches are in Europe, especially in the western and northern part. So thank you for sharing your photos and impressions with us!
I also completely agree that artworks can show the peculiarity of cultures and nations. I visited the Topkapi palace in Istanbul, Turkey recently, and there as well I found dishware from Japan and China, all covered in traditional images. Unfortunately, I couldn't take photos, but I really recommend visiting the place!

Hallo @TorM,
