This will be an experiential meet-up featuring a Guest Speaker sharing insights on a thoughtfully chosen topic.

To enhance interaction and relevance, participants are encouraged to submit their thoughts, questions, or reflections in advance through the form by May 22, 2026, 07:00 PM (GMT+5:30). This will help the speaker address key inputs and ensure a smooth, focused session. Participants are requested to wait for the Meet-up Moderator’s cue before speaking and avoid interruptions during the discussion.

In the journey From Travel to Connect, being a Local Guide on Google Maps goes far beyond simply visiting new places; it’s about the connections we build and the stories we carry with us long after the journey ends. Each experience; whether it’s uncovering a hidden gem, engaging with local communities, or guiding others through thoughtful contributions, adds a unique perspective to a larger, shared narrative that helps people explore the world with confidence.

From Travel to Connect: Turning Experiences into Stories invites us to come together, reflect on our shared moments, and explore how we can transform our journeys into meaningful stories that inspire, inform, and strengthen our community. In this context, understanding how to turn our travel experiences into engaging Connect posts is especially important, as it helps us share insights that can guide and support fellow Local Guides through their own experiences.

Let’s realign, relearn, and rediscover the essentials, because strong foundations lead to impactful journeys.

During this session, we will have the opportunity to learn from his experience in transforming travel journeys into meaningful and informative stories on Connect. The theme “From Travel to Connect: Turning Experiences into Stories” is extremely relevant for all of us as Local Guides. Often we travel a lot, but transforming those experiences into meaningful, structured Connect posts is where the real impact lies—and this session seems perfectly focused on that gap.

Great to see @TravellerG joining as Guest Speaker—his experience will definitely add valuable insights, especially on structuring posts and post-publishing engagement.

These series have been quite good and consistent @Kumaarsantosh . Please keep it up. Sorry I haven’t been able to attend much. These days weekends are very busy for me. Hopefully someday soon I’ll be free again and I’ll attend some of these nice meet-up of yours.

That sounds like an interesting topic. I would like to join if time permits. Saturdays are usually crucial for me. Sometimes I need to go to work on Saturdays. So if I am not working that day, I surely will join.
