I am pleased to share about my new initiative Ghumakkad Gossip (Talk with Wanderer) here on Connect forum. I am hoping to get your support and love as always to make it a success. You can share your thoughts, You can be a Guest Speaker and offcource please join the meet-ups as participants. Please have a look into the details about this initiative.
Ghumakkad Gossip (GG)
Ghumakkad Gossip is a series of meet-up launched as my personal initiative to spread an experiential discussion on the relevant topic amongst Local Guides on Connect. Guest Speaker(s) championing the respective topic will be invited to share their experiences and knowledge on a pre-defined pattern.
Mode, Frequency and Duration
This is going to be in online (virtual) mode only. The initial aim is to do it once a month for a duration of one hour. Depending on the Responses and Reactions, the frequency and duration may get revised.
Topics and Guest Speaker
A list of topics is taken through some of our senior Local Guides and slated for the coming months. I am in touch with the Guest Speakers to get their availability for their chosen topic.
Having said that, you all are hereby invited to share a topic to get included in the GG Meet-up series. Not only that, if you also want to be one of the Guest Speakers, please message me personally on Connect with your interest and topic details. I will Collaborate & Corroborate further with you.
Format of GG Meet-up
GG Meet-up will be conducted in a pre-defined pattern. It is going to be an experiential meet-up where the invited Guest Speaker will talk about the selected topic.
Attendees are advised to share their thoughts/expectations (if any) in advance in the comment section of the respective Meet-up announcement. I will further collate and include them to my discussion agenda with the speaker. This will not only help to maintain flow of the meet-up but also help making the meet-up productive for everyone.
By and large, below listed sequence of activities shall be followed during GG Meet-up:
- Quick Introduction of the Attendees (5 min)
- Overview of the Meet-up (5 min)
- Introduction of Guest Speaker (5 min)
- Gossip with Guest Speaker on the topic (30 min)
- Attendees to seek more clarity (10 min)
- Debriefing & wrap up (5 min)
GG Meet-up announcement
Announcement of GG Meet-up will be through the Meet-up topic on Connect. GG Meet-up kick off is already announced on the topic Supporting Small Businesses.
