Treatment of Non-Biodegradable Wastes ♻

We all are concerned about Mother Planet - ‘The Earth’. And, we do our best to save our planet in whatever capacity we can do in our day to day life.

To further support this, we have got a wonderful platform as a Google Maps through which we can help the environment. Even our small contribution will make a difference.

As an inherit habit, I always update the sustainability attributes religiously for the place I visit. I go to their Google Maps url and using Edit features under the About tab, update the Recycling attributes.

Even I ensure answering the questions about Recycling.

In my previous post on Reduce Reuse and Recycle recycle, I have talked about Dry waste and Wet waste and here is the third category which is mainly used for non-biodegradable wastes. These wastes contain both hazardous and non-hazardous wastes which can’t be recycled. They are been taken to incinerate.

One such example I am highlighting here, where I found the Recycling Waste Bins categorically separated for three kind of wastes :

  1. Dry waste: used for recyclable wastes like Glass bottles, Plastic bottles, Newspaper, Cans etc.
  2. Wet waste: used for compostable wastes like Egg shells, Disposables, Food items etc.
  3. Rejected waste: used for the non-biodegradable wastes like body fluids, tissues, sanitary napkins, needles etc. Since these wastes can’t be recycled, it is also named as rejecting waste bin and is in Red colour.

Immediately, I edit the feature for recycling attributes for this place and also uploaded the relevant photo on the Google Maps.

I am focussed and observant to identify and highlight Reduce, Reuse and Recycle :recycle: attributes on Google Maps for the places I visit. This example is taken from my visit to Master Green Park.

What is your take on this to help the environment on Google Maps on the topic Recycle to Save Earth to Save Yourself. Please share in the comment box.

Keep building a well-informed community stronger :muscle: together.

Stay Happy, Stay Healthy!
