Pop-up dialogue box to appear to confirm its originality while posting a photo or review

I would suggest that for the contributor in  Google Maps,while posting a review or photo a pop-up dialogue box may be programmed to appear to make them confirm on its originality to ensure that it is a relevant one and not copied from other sources and in case of a review with quote insist to give credit to the copyright holder.

This will prick the conscience of the person posting the irrelevant photos.

(all photos of a neighborhood bunched to a particular place (spot)  without sorting - misleading the viewers)
I find many irrelevant photos more than a dozen (even hundred) not related to the place added.
It will be difficult to flag every photo to report its irrelevance. 

Even a specially designated moderator can not do the job to eliminate them unless a mass delete option is available for them.

I may agree with you about the first part (confirming that the photo is original), because in this case you cannot say "I didn't knew that the photo had to be mine" but I completely disagree on the second point "to give credit to the copyright holder". I am sorry, but when you post a photo in Google Maps, in my opinion the photo must be your own photo, and in Local Guides Connect too, giving credits is not enough. You should have the permission of the author, and you have to be able to demonstrate it, if requested. It is not sufficient to declare that you have. There are specific rules, in many countries, about copyright, and the indications given here are clear enough: Give credit in the caption for images you have permission to use

keep removing unrelated photo of the place and so on is work of local guides?

we do not get any points by removing unrelated photos though..

As regards the copyright, I refer to the textual content in the review - when we quote some information in quotation marks. (Not to the photos).

Please read the latter phrase with reference to the Reviews.

Many a time our own thoughts will be in consonance or synonymous with the textual information already available in sources like Wikipedia.

As for photos,  I think, capturing  the Restaurant Menu or the Image Posters under the Sun, of the Business concerns, may not be violative of the copyright in Maps.

I agree with you about the photos of the menu. There's now a specific tab on the photos just for "menu".

The lines in my original post:
