Hi all!
I want to share an idea that I think could be useful for people creating lists in Google Maps.
When creating a new list or adding a new place to an existing one, you always need to add a photo. A photo for the list and a photo for each place in the list.
Generally, when I am creating a new list, I want to show a particular aspect for each place in the list. For example, if I am creating a list with restaurants with spaces for children, I would like to add a photo to each place in the list that shows the children space.
Sometimes it takes a lot of time to find a good photo that shows exactly what I need to show. If the place has hundreds of photos, I need to scroll through a lot of photos and it is difficult to find the right one. Most of the time, I have been to the place and I took the photo that shows exactly what I want to show in my list, but finding my photos becomes an impossible task.
Regarding the photo of the list is even worst because it is selected automatically from the first place you add, and it cannot be changed. Then a list of burguer restaurants could have for example a photo of a salad representing the list, or a pizzeria's list could have a dessert as the main photo.
I would like to propose the following to solve this issue:
Thanks a lot for reading and I would like you to support my idea!
Regards from Buenos Aires!
