We are getting closer to the kickoff date for TRAC yippee!!! Now TRAC is a community, and we organize all our activities through the community effort. All our decisions are community based. All our achievements are community based. Now we need to decide like we said in our last meetup what to do during our TRAC main season event. Last year we had 3 teams
Masters
Runners
Seekers.
We can choose to continue with it, or do something else this year. The choice is ours
Are we contributing on an individual based?
Are we maintaining the team system we had last year?
Are we going to do a different thing?
Everyone’s voice and vote counts. Majority carries the vote as we all know. If anyone has any other opinion or idea, we will also be very happy to consider it if possible and acceptable.

We either do the same this year or we revert back to our individual way of participation during the event. I hope it is clear enough now? Thank you for asking.

I said it already that I didn’t feel as inspired by the team method, as opposed to watching the progress of individuals.
BUT in the present environment where the approval rate is so low, and the emails come through so seldom, and the road count increases very rarely, it is hard to feel good as an individual.

@tony_b take your time, nevertheless we need to make a decision. We will be kicking off in about 12 days. We need to prepare for whatever system we will use. Thank you for your keen interest and reasoning always.
Thank you for the invite to vote and in deed TRAC is a community that thrives on communal efforts and so my vote is to continue with the team system, maybe with a change in the team names.

I think we should continue with the Teams. Last year I had several serious issues so I wasn’t able to help my team in a proper way, but hopefully this year I hope we can do better.
Only one suggestion: as in May one group of Local Guides will attend Connect Live, it would be great to distribute them on different teams
fortunately we can add or edit via desktop as well as via mobile / table.
I do prefer the desktop version but some of the “old” TRAC enthusiast are working really fast also via mobile.
