Recently, a few Local Guides have reported that they are concerned about their privacy on the platform. Whether you want to limit who can see your activity or simply prefer a lower profile, Connect gives you the flexibility to control your profile visibility.
If you’d like to keep your information more secure, you can easily hide your public profile from other users.
How to Update Your Privacy Settings:
Click on your profile photo in the top right corner.
Select Preferences from the dropdown menu.
Navigate to the Profile tab.
Check the box that says “Hide my public profile.”
Click on Save Changes.
