Hy Local Guides, 
Time flies when the world is being mapped and a community is being built. As my 
year journey with the Local Guides program converges with the 10th year milestone of Local Guides Connect, it is a moment to reflect on my collective impact on this community.

A decade ago, Local Guides Connect became a home for passionate explorers. Over the past 8 years, I have grown from a curious mapper into a Level 
contributor, learning, sharing & connecting with peers across the globe. This path has been about building bridges and fostering a community that cares. From hosting the first meetup to celebrating 10 years of Connect with the community 
, and as Connect turns 10, the spirit of contribution remains stronger than ever.
This journey has been defined by diverse and meaningful projects that aim to make a real-world difference. My efforts have included designing logos to celebrate 10 years of Connect ©️ & championing accessibility 
. Beyond design and advocacy, I have explored creating custom profiles on Google Maps 
, while supporting small local businesses through meetups 
and celebrating our love for the community 
have been vital parts of my experience. Whether it is adding a new museum on Google Maps 
or organizing beach cleanup drives 
, each project serves as a reminder of how much we can achieve together.
These initiatives are deeply rooted in my passion for sustainable and inclusive practices. Promoting sustainability 
, advocating for inclusive contributions on Google Maps 
& celebrating Pride with the community 
have remained central themes throughout my work. These efforts are further complemented by the two-year milestone of the “Celebrate with Me” series and my ongoing focus on inclusivity initiatives.
Ultimately, my work remains focused on the quality and reach of our collective contributions. Whether it was hitting a milestone of 7 million views on added places 
or exploring on what makes a review relevant on Google Maps 
, the impact we have on users worldwide continues to inspire.
Looking ahead, I am excited to continue expanding these efforts, from broadening the “Celebrate with Me 
” series to discovering new ways to map the hidden gems alongside our global community. The goal is to ensure that every edits, review & meetups helps create a more accessible, sustainable & inclusive world for everyone.
I am grateful for the community that has walked alongside me, challenged me to grow & inspired me to keep mapping with heart. Here’s to many more years of exploring, connecting & making a meaningful impact together.
