🌟 30 Days to Go: From Conversations to a Nationwide Celebration

2026-08-15T04:30:00Z2026-08-16T13:30:00Z

Hello Local Guides,

The countdown has begun — just 30 days to go until we come together for the Namaste India Local Guides Summit 2026 on 15–16 August in Delhi NCR! :tada:

But let me tell you something… this is not just a countdown to an event.
This is a countdown to a story that has already started unfolding. :dizzy:

🌈 Where It All Began…

From the very first announcement by @NareshDarji on 16th April, to the opening of registrations by @deepakjhic on 11th May — the excitement was visible across the community. What followed was something truly inspiring.

The response was so overwhelming that registrations had to be closed earlier than expected, beautifully announced by @AmbrishVarshney — a true reflection of the energy of our community! :raising_hands:

:handshake: A Glimpse of What’s Coming…

Just this Sunday, something special happened.

Community leaders @deepakjhic and @AmbrishVarshney hosted a meetup for registered participants. It wasn’t just a meetup —it was a glimpse of what’s coming ahead. Conversations flowed, excitement was shared, and connections began even before the main event. :raising_hands:

And most importantly — the feeling of “we are in this together” came alive.

👥 The People Behind the Summit

This summit is a true community-powered celebration.

Guided by **Connect Moderator & Meet-up Champion @NareshDarji, and supported by experienced Local Guides @deepakjhic, @AmbrishVarshney, @Kumaarsantosh, @AjitThite, @Tejal and me — the organizing team is eagerly waiting to welcome each one of you.

Behind the scenes, there has been:

This is not just organization — this is collaboration at its best.

:tada: Big Update for the Community!

We heard you! :raising_hands:

Many Local Guides reached out after registrations closed… and here’s some good news:

:backhand_index_pointing_right: If you missed registration, you can still join us on 16th August!

We are planning a city exploration day via HoHo Bus :bus:, where unregistered Local Guides can also be part of the experience.

To join, you can connect with @AmbrishVarshney for details.

Because no one should miss the spirit of togetherness.

:luggage: Your Journey Begins Before You Arrive

Here’s a special request to all participants:

:camera_with_flash: Start your story from your hometown!
Capture your journey — from packing your bags to reaching Delhi.
Share your travel stories, photos, and Maps contributions.

Connect is waiting for your stories! :writing_hand:

:white_check_mark: Travel Smart | Travel Prepared

A few friendly tips for your journey:

  • :stethoscope: Carry essential medicines (15th August is a national holiday)
  • :umbrella: Keep an umbrella or raincoat (just in case!)
  • :billed_cap: Sunglasses, cap & sunscreen for city exploration
  • :droplet: Bring a refillable water bottle — support sustainability :seedling:
  • :backpack: Prepare a checklist to avoid last-minute stress

Let’s make this summit eco-friendly and responsible together.

:speech_balloon: Let’s Get to Know Each Other!

Participants & volunteers — this is your moment!

:backhand_index_pointing_down: Introduce yourself in the comments with:

  • :round_pushpin: Where you’re traveling from
  • :curry_rice: A famous food/place/event from your city
  • :woman_office_worker: Your profession (optional)
  • :handshake: Meetups you’ve attended
  • :camera_with_flash: Your photo (and mention your position if it’s a group photo!)

Let’s start connecting even before we meet!

 More Than an Event…

This summit is not just about sessions or schedules.
It’s about people. Stories. Shared passion.

It’s about proving once again that:

:backhand_index_pointing_right: We don’t wait for the event to begin… we begin the event together.

The excitement is real.
The community is ready.
And the best is yet to come. :rocket:

See you in Delhi!
