Hey Local Guides fam! What an absolute blast my very first meetup turned out to be!
Under the super guidance of @NareshDarji, we turned Reliance Cross Road, Gandhinagar into our playground on Dec 27, 2025. From 2 PM to 5 PM, it was non-stop masti!
It was an amazing experience. People from Ahmedabad, Ambaji and Gandhinagar attended the Scavenger Hunt meet-up. We 9-10 excited Guides gathered at the spot (super easy to find via that Google Maps link: Google Maps). Comfy shoes on, water bottles ready, phones charged – we kicked off with team intros and a big cheer! Newbies and pros mixed like jalebi in rabri.
First up, we dove into those fun Let’s Roam app challenges. We completed the challenges and scored around 16000 points! Teams dashed around hunting quirky landmarks, snapping pics of hidden gems, and we also added storefront photos, menus etc. to Google Maps. Cracking Google Maps trivia and one team got stuck at a chai stall photo quest – total chaos but pure fun!
By 3:30 PM, the energy was off the charts! Epic moments like solving that tricky riddle near a local monument, group selfies with funky poses, and fresh contributions to Maps right there. Desi vibes on point – quick chai breaks, group chants zindabad!", and non-stop laughter. Everyone bonded like family!
As the sun dipped (perfect 5 PM wrap-up), we gathered for shoutouts. Trivia champs got virtual high-fives, and everyone shared their fave moments. “Best first meetup ever – more please!” was the WhatsApp flood. Made so many new friends, celebrated LG10 milestones, and left with hearts full!

It was such a joyful meet-up and a real pleasure to be part of it. @harshdigital I had a great time at the scavenger hunt in Gandhinagar. Exploring the area, solving the challenges together, and meeting fellow Local Guides made it really memorable.
