Hi Everyone !
Nice to meet you all. Here is is a latest update of Government of India for having multiple mobile Sim Card may be in trouble.
Goverment have directed telecom companies to disconnect services of subscribers who have more than nine SIM cards in their names.
Many subscribers have multiple SIMs with several owning more than 100 says dot authorities.
In the past, operators were offering free and pre-activated prepaid connections with SIMs at their outlets or franchise across the country. .
The new rules came into effect on the 25th May 2018 with the DoT amending the customer verification norms for mobile phone users.
Many subscribers have multiple SIMs with several owning more than 100, says government.
The new norms which government of India are taking up is a positive step to prevent the misuse of sim card by anti social elements.
.

Hi @THOKCHOM,
Apologize for commenting on your post but these kind of news has no relevance and doesn't impact our community. We should rather focus on the news related to our community than focusing on individual countries.

Hi @THOKCHOM,
I appreciate your concern for the community and the world but still believe this is not the right platform to discuss Telecom regulations affecing Indians. Do you think we should discuss North Korea nuclear missile and test program because it would impact us all? Or any other political, geographical or regional changes? Our community consist of people from various countries as rightly said by you. There are numerous other topics related to our community which can be discussed to bind us closer.

Hi @Harpal
Once again thanks a lot for the reply. Mobile or any matter of immediate concern may be discussed. There is nothing wrong in that. Even nuclear or any war may be discussed if it involves the interest of a community or some communities. It is the matter of the person mind setting and attitude in life.

I would like to add something about plagiarism, that is really a bad behaviour in Local Guides Connect and in Google Maps platform.
It seems that the text of the post is not yours, it is integrally copied from here: "https://www.indiatoday.in/business/story/telecom-companies-....."
Are you aware of the rules of the Community? please read The 5 core values of Connect, with special attention to value number 4, that I am copying here for you:
"We’re original. We post our own words, photos, and videos that we’ve created just for Connect. If we do share something that someone else created, we’re sure to give proper credit."
So please edit your post, correcting your title and giving the proper credit, AT THE BEGINING OF YOUR POST, where credit is due.
Dom't you know how to make an edit?
Press the three black dots on the right top of your post then click on "edit"
Thanks for your attention
