Hi @Durojaiyeolaunde1,

Thank you for sharing your idea with us.

Could you please add more information to better understand what you’re suggesting. Do you suggest "Public speaking classes" to be organized? Can you share the specific things you’d like to see?

I just recommend you before you submit an idea to search the community. It’s possible that someone else has already submitted the same one, so you can show your support by voting for that idea.

Also, please include only one unique feature request in each idea post. If you have several different ideas, create an individual post on the Idea Exchange for each of them.

Some of local guides like to host Meetup but they don't have confidence to speak on a camera even with the audience.what I mean that.should have a bodyguard to support him to make is Meetup successful.as speaking on behalf. Be as a monitor.

Hi @Durojaiyeolaunde1

It is quite normal to have a co-host assigned to Meet-Ups especially if the main host don't have a lot of experience. There might also be technical issues so it's better to be a team.

You need to make friends here on Connect so you can co-host for others or find a co-host to help you out.

Cheers

Hi @Durojaiyeolaunde1,

Thanks for the additional information provided.

I would like to let you know that what you are suggesting is not feasible to pursue by the team as meet-ups are organized and hosted by Local Guides like you.

With that said I am going to set the status of your idea to "Closed".

My tip, @Durojaiyeolaunde1 , is to have a co-host or two. This is very useful in a virtual meet-up, because there is frequently a presentation to run, screen to share, etc.

But this is totally a responsibility of the host, and cannot delegate to Google.

My second tip is: Before to organize a meet-up, work with others with the preparation. Ths will help to improve the quality and the speaker attitude.

My third tip is: work on the preparation: a meet-up should be hosted on specific topics. Preparing a presentation is like to prepare your speech. Never host a meet-up just for meeting people, without any preparation
