Colored icons for different Saved Lists

Currently all the different saved lists have the same blue color icon which makes it very hard to see which is which on the Map unless I turn on only 1 list at a time. Please add in the capability to change the icon color for each list separately.

Hello @StephenAbraham i am totally agreed by you, because today i also faced this issue. All of my edited places, missing places and all other saved list in maps have the same colour so its difficult to analyse sometimes which is my edited place or my added place. Its my request to the developer team that provide different colours in the list so that we can easily differentiate our list.

More types/options/tags for saved lists in Google Maps, please!

I would love to be able to more clearly identify different categories of saved locations.

It would be incredibly helpful to views maps with just those categories as well.

Does anyone else feel the same? I would love to hear other people's thoughts and ideas on this?

@sonnyNgI agree with the suggestion here and the statement you made describes the solution well. In the menu to create a new list it should be an option to select an icon and background color for the list (maybe from a dropdown list of emojis?). It should also be an option to change the icon in the edit list menu under Your Places>Saved>...>Edit List
