The generative AI search option is not available after receiving invitation email to try it. I currently have version 11.124.0102 loaded on my Android phone. Any suggestions?
The feature works on app version 11.113 and up; not available on desktop, so it should work for you, if you are using the same account that received the invitation.
As the feature is not available in my country I can't share a direct experience. For this reason I am tagging a Google Moderator, @DeniGu , for more tips
I for sure would check for updates of the app, but I hope others can be of more help than me. I suppose you'll get an update of the app after accepting the invitation?

As @ErmesT and @KattyGeltmeyer suggested, please check if a newer version of Google Maps is available to you. Also, make sure that you're using the app with the same account that received the email invitation.
