The meet up was hosted by @ChinonsoOnukwugha @and I. It was really engaging as local guides shared their cultural attires and explained how traditional marriages were celebrated in their local communities. It was really an exciting experience filled with so much laughter and fun.
It was a two hour meet up which had about 50 local guides from 12 countries.
From their experiences, African countries share more in terms of cultural attires and the way marriages were celebrated. While some parts in Asia share similar cultural beliefs with Africa especially traditional marriages and rites, other European/ America/ Australian countries have symbolic fruits, trees, dresses, animals, places which tell their stories of origin.
The meet up ended with local guides telling us what ‘Goodbye’ means in their local dialect. It was fun and exciting, and I wish the meet up could be repeated severally.
