@ErmesT and the funny thing is that I have NEVER met my relatives. Just once (I was told) when I was 10 months old. I can't remember anything... 🙂 One more reason to visit Argentina

Adding some content for the people who are unaware of the beauty of your city, I remember an old post written by @FaridTDF about the several towns around Buenos Aires, but I can't find the link

Saludos Farid

@ErmesT I still find it crazy when I think about that!
I'm not a big lover of dulce de leche but I like it once in a while, mostly with pancakes!!

Hey, @MaxWalsh
How to thank you for this post that is bringing me in one of my "second home" around the planet?
I deeply love Baires. Being Italian, in Buenos Aires I really feel like at home. It was like this on my very first day in there, on January of 19 year ago. I was working for two years in Merlo, not so far from @ValeriaA_ house (funny, she was a child, at that time) but my hotel was between 9 de Julio and Avenida del Mayo, not so far from "la casa del jamón" and Cafe Tortoni.
How to forget the beautiful two years, walking every Sunday, up to Recoleta, down to Puerto Madero, or taking the train to go to Tigre.
Food was memorable. What about dulce de leche?

Why crazy @ValeriaA_
I probably crossed with you going at work, or in the factory's club, or visiting "la Iglesia de la Virgen de Luján"
Hehe, it makes me smile
