The kick-off session was a great success, where we revisited the core fundamentals - essential building blocks of our Local Guides journey. It was a valuable refresher on the Maps and Connect platforms, along with the tools that empower us to grow stronger and contribute more effectively.
We were honored to have our guest speaker and moderator, @NareshDarji, grace the inaugural meet-up with his presence and officially launch the V2 series, setting the tone for the exciting episodes ahead.
I am truly excited to reconnect with you all and begin this new season with a refreshed outlook, deeper insights, and inspiring conversations. This time again, we are thrilled to feature notable guest speakers who bring unique, on-ground experiences to the forum.

Episode 7 of Ghumakkad Gossip V2: Her Voice on the Map: Celebrating Women Local Guides
As shared earlier, with the GG V2 Series theme centered on “Back to Basics,” we are thrilled to announce Episode 7 of the Ghumakkad Gossip Meet-up Series: “Her Voice on the Map: Celebrating Women Local Guides.” 
This session invites us to reconnect with the true spirit of being a Local Guide; where mapping is not just about places, but about people, inclusivity, and empowerment.
Under the theme “Her Voice on the Map,” we celebrate the collective voice of the community in supporting and uplifting women. It encourages us to recognize and highlight women-led businesses and local heroines by sharing accurate information, reviews, listings and experiences on Google Maps.
Women entrepreneurs are transforming communities, and as Local Guides we can play a meaningful role in increasing their visibility. By supporting and promoting women-owned businesses through our contributions, we help create a more inclusive and informed world.
Through thoughtful mapping and responsible contributions, we can make a difference; one place, one story, and one contribution at a time within the global Local Guides community.

To deepen our understanding of the theme “Her Voice on the Map: Celebrating Women Local Guides,” we are truly honored to welcome Connect Moderator Feliciana (@Velvel), from Jakarta, Indonesia. Her presence adds immense value to this session, bringing a wealth of knowledge, practical experience, and thoughtful insights into highlighting the ways we should support businesses on Google Maps. 
Feliciana strongly believes that as a Local Guide, one can help people around the world through meaningful contributions. This belief beautifully reflects the spirit of “Her Voice on the Map.” As a passionate foodie, her contributions often spotlight coffee shops, bakeries, pastry shops, sweet shops, and restaurants; guiding the community on how to discover, review, and support these businesses through Google Maps. 
During this session, we will have the opportunity to learn from her experiences; especially on writing detailed reviews, creating lists and sharing impactful photos and videos that help showcase businesses effectively.
