Introduction:
This monthly post is about the views gained by Local Guide reviews so if you’re tracking your reviews and the views they gain, this post will interest you. The format of the post is similar to other posts in the Top 100 Leaderboard series. There’s:
An overall top 100 leaderboard celebrating the highest review views across all Local Guide levels;
Dedicated leaderboards highlighting the top 100 Local Guides at each individual level, showcasing their review views achievement;
And for the first time, Country-specific leaderboards presenting the leading Local Guides by review views within each country, showcasing the top achievers in each country are introduced.

Readme - How to read the Reviews leaderboards (February, 2026)
Briefly, this is what you need to know about the leaderboards in this post. For more details see the leaderboard documentation and the Leaderboard System’s online context-sensitive help information.
The leaderboards in this post present details about the Local Guide reviews of hundreds of participating Local Guides from all over the world. As well as an overall leaderboard ranking the top 100 Local Guides by reviews, you will see leaderboards for different Local Guide levels which provide you with direct comparisons of your review views achievements with that of your peers. Additionally, leaderboards are included that showcase the top Local Guides by review views in each country.
Where shown, [ ] around leaderboard sequence numbers indicate that this is the first time that this Local Guide has participated on the Top 100 Local Guides leaderboards.
Where shown, ( ) around leaderboard sequence numbers indicate that this Local Guide levelled up/down on this leaderboard.
An asterisk (*) shown after a Connect Username indicates that that Local Guide is a Connect Moderator.
Double asterisks (**) shown after a Connect Username indicate that that Local Guide is a Googler.
Local Guides suspended or who have left the Local Guides program are excluded from Leaderboards.
If you have changed (a) your Connect username, or (b) your Maps profile name or (c) your Maps profile status from public to hidden or vice versa then you may not appear on one or more of the leaderboards. If so then you must provide the details in a comment on this post.
Hovering over a Local Guide’s username will display the number that integrates that Local Guide’s details on the Leaderboards System and Connect; the umbilical chord if you will between the two disparate systems.
Selecting a Connect username will take you to either that Local Guide’s Connect Profile or to their HUB.
If a number is displayed in a small gray circle following a username, that number indicates the number of times anyone has selected that username to visit the respective Local Guide’s Connect profile or HUB.
A ? or the words “Not set” in a cell indicates that the respective value hasn’t been provided by or cannot be determined for the respective Local Guide.
Usernames shown as @Anonymous have either been deleted from or have left the Local Guides program.

Hello everyone and once again welcome to the 8 new participants to the Leaderboards this month and it’s good to see that you are also participating on the Reviews leaderboards. Please note that to participate on the Reviews leaderboards it’s important that at least once each month you check your review counts on your Local Guides profile in the Google Maps app and where necessary, update your counts on the Leaderboard System. To learn more about how to check your review view counts, visit How to track your review views.
Talking about updating, one feature that I hope like me you like in the Leaderboard System’s new data updating feature, is the immediate recognition you get from the updated value of each metric, including reviews. As you update you immediately see the monthly change.
To see what I mean, here’s a snapshot of the performance of my own reviews in February. So without me needing to do any manual calculations, after checking and entering my review counts, I can readily see that I’ve had 4002 new reactions to my reviews and 36,404 new views over the last month. From this I can readily see that my reviews continue to have an impact on the community.
The screenshot not only shows, you might see the titles of metric in your own language[1], but also that I was not careful in February and typed 767 instead of 467, thus a delta of -300 in red!
If you do not see it in your language, drop a comment in my topic, maybe @AdamGT can solve it. ↩︎
