Introduction:
This monthly post is about the views gained by Local Guide reviews so if you’re tracking your reviews and the views they gain, this post will interest you. The format of the post is similar to other posts in the Top 100 Leaderboard series. There’s:

• An overall top 100 leaderboard celebrating the highest review views across all Local Guide levels;
• Dedicated leaderboards highlighting the top 100 Local Guides at each individual level, showcasing their review views achievement;
• And for the first time, Country-specific leaderboards presenting the leading Local Guides by review views within each country, showcasing the top achievers in each country are introduced.

I’ve mentioned this a few times now and have shown various examples in a number of different comments in my replies, and the cover image is yet another example. Instead of having a black TV screen hanging on the wall, I use it to showcase some of the brilliant photos taken by Local Guides. I simply cast the HUB gallery onto the smart TV and let it showcase these great photos in a slideshow fashion. It’s an interesting photo and of course I know whose photo it is but for something different, would the owner of this photo please stand up and let us all know what it’s all about

Readme - How to read the Reviews leaderboards (December, 2025)

Briefly, this is what you need to know about the leaderboards in this post. For more details see the leaderboard documentation and the Leaderboard System’s online context-sensitive help information.

1. The leaderboards in this post present details about the Local Guide reviews of hundreds of participating Local Guides from all over the world. As well as an overall leaderboard ranking the top 100 Local Guides by reviews, you will see leaderboards for different Local Guide levels which provide you with direct comparisons of your review views achievements with that of your peers. Additionally, leaderboards are included that showcase the top Local Guides by review views in each country.
2. Where shown, [ ] around leaderboard sequence numbers indicate that this is the first time that this Local Guide has participated on the Top 100 Local Guides leaderboards.
3. Where shown, ( ) around leaderboard sequence numbers indicate that this Local Guide levelled up/down on this leaderboard.
4. An asterisk (*) shown after a Connect Username indicates that that Local Guide is a Connect Moderator.
5. Double asterisks (**) shown after a Connect Username indicate that that Local Guide is a Googler.
6. Due to a recent major change in the way the System manages profile data, as a temporary measure a superscript of [2] following a Local Guide’s username is being used to indicate that as far as the System is concerned, at the time of reading the data for this month’s Leaderboards that user’s data appears compliant with the requirements for participation on all leaderboards. The [2] superscript will not be shown from next month.
7. Local Guides suspended or who have left the Local Guides program are excluded from Leaderboards.
8. Hovering over a Local Guide’s username will display the number that integrates that Local Guide’s details on the Leaderboards System and Connect; the umbilical chord if you will between the two disparate systems.
9. Selecting a Connect username will take you to either that Local Guide’s Connect Profile or to their Brick on the Wall of Fame. If a number is displayed in a small gray circle following a username, that number indicates the number of times anyone has selected that username to visit the respective Local Guide’s Connect profile or Brick in the Wall.
10. A ? or the words “Not set” in a cell indicates that the respective value hasn’t been provided by or cannot be determined for the respective Local Guide.
11. Usernames shown as @Anonymous2 have either been deleted from or have left the Local Guides program.
12. The data for the leaderboards in this post was read at 0545 on Saturday, January 3, 2026 (UTC).
13. Local Guides included on the leaderboards must check their entries for any errors. If you should find any errors or omissions, please add the details in a comment on this post. Regarding omissions, please note point 10 above.

Hello everyone and welcome to the new Leaderboard participants who have also joined the Google Maps reviews boards. We’ve been tracking the reviews data on the Leaderboard System since mid-2024 but only started posting leaderboards of these in September 2025 after the How to track your review views post by @Julie_A. Have you been tracking your review views? Have you seen an increase in their views? Well while my star photo has been stagnant for a while now, my review views are steadily increasing, 5,991,391 back in November and 6,155,616 in December and what’s more, my average views per review has increased from 3,973 to 4,068 in that month

Congrats all to making the list. I don’t think I have done a review in over 2 years. Biggest issue for me is there is literally no way to check which reviews are hidden/private. So I would never know which needs to be modified. I have checked this thoroughly and maps is broken regarding this.

However, please dont be like me and continue to post reviews and be honest and climb the leaderboards!
