What did I do wrong? I like to add missing roads. But recently the system stopped accepting (or rejecting) my road edits since 13 Feb. My roads usually get processed everyday and like 7-8 hours after submitting (both accepted and rejected but It’s good to know if my road edit is still being processed). This is abnormal and I have some uncertain thoughts about what I did wrong or it’s a system glitch. I want to add another road already! Sorry for my broken English since It’s not my native tongue.

Now for your specific query about not getting update on your edited roads, please don’t worry it’s common for everyone. Edited roads have not been reviewed by Google after Feb 13. It is quite usual at times.
You can check the status under Edit in your Contribution dashboard in Google Maps Profile, it must be showing as Pending.
There is an opportunity for you to seek expert advice from the seasoned roaders and contribute to the TRAC program. You may like to join this program by filling up TRAC participation form.

As far as I know, access to road editing is not always available to everyone. Sometimes some local guides are given access to it. Thanks @StarLord4K for sharing with us.
Hello @Aslam_hossain ,
editing and drawing new roads on Google Maps is open to all registered users. There are some limitation in specific areas / country where we can not draw.
There is another area / site where we can draw line, is Google Mapper, but here you must be invited. It is not open to everybody.

As already highlighted by @ShailendraOjha and @Kumaarsantosh we hope you can evaluate the idea to join our TRAC 2025 Campaign.
About pending issue that is a well known issue. Sometimes the system become really slow and you lost your work (you know that after 90 days what is not approved will be delete). In other occasions you can have a fast approval process.
I trace a 11 months period for more than 70.000 approval roads and, despite the huge work, approval rate are really …“a mistery”.

Yeah @StarLord4K . Approvals of roads has been slow recently but I’m sure it will be rectified

Hi,
You are not doing anything wrong. In my opinion the error is on Google Maps side as I have exactly the same error as you, in the same period of time.
In the last two weeks, one or two of the routes I added were accepted. Previously, about 80-90 roads I added were accepted the day after they were added.

You may not have done anything wrong Star Lord. The approval system seems to start and stop at various times.
I don’t have a proper record of road submissions versus road approvals, but i draw a few almost every day, and have only seen my number change twice this month.
Don’t give up. Let us all persevere and do what we love. The results will come.

I think my problem is slowly being solved, today I received emails with information about approved roads added a week or two weeks ago - not all, but most of them.

I just checked and see I have 16 approval emails over the last three hours. No change yet in my Roads Added count, nor my total points.
Hope this continues to improve.
In my case, the number of points increased the day after the added roads were approved

The number of roads listed on my contribution page increase like the number of points.

Finally mine have increased as well. Both roads and points now reflect the number of approval notifications I received a day ago.
