Lately, I got inspiration from @ChanneLing beautiful posts and I decided to share my photos with you as well. Street art used to be considered as an act of vandalism, fortunately nowadays we can discover that more and more public wall paintings are truly artistic. Sometimes they are made by anonymous artists, sometimes by a well-known personage. These visual works can be an act of protest, expression of respect, planned project or just spontaneous piece of art. Below I suppose you can notice all of these types. Walking down the San Francisco streets I was looking for them carefully, as San Francisco is a “street art heaven” for me and I still have very many of them left to discover in the future. I love street art as it brightens the grey cities and makes them look more colorful and optimistic.
What is your favorite graffiti? Do you know any street art artist? Why do you admire this kind of art? Waiting for your point of view in the comments below.
Thanks for sharing your great photos of some of the street art in San Francisco. It really changes the vibe of the city and makes it more colourful. I even feel that the streets are not that grey anymore.
Just recently I visited the Bulgarian city Plovdiv. I took a photo of a street art because I really liked the blue green colours. Here it is:
Thank you @AniaKiser for sharing with us these beautiful pieces of art.
I can see the golden gate Bridge, some of the revolutionary leaders, and a collection of thoughts in this art.
I admire the street art because, it shows how the residents of that area see their past, how much they are satisfied with their legacy. It shows what are the things that the people want to undo in present. It potreys the perception of the people regarding the future.
It is a way the people get empty all of their sorrow from their inside, inking their feeling on the wall.
Oh the streets of San Francisco! Definitely on my top 3 favourite! I too believe Street Art works tell wonderful stories of a city and its people. Thanks for sharing @AniaKiser !

I’m finding it difficult to see such beautiful street art in Japan, especially the rural areas. So I’m happy to see them here.
