Hello LGs,
As you are all aware, we have already begun registrations for the Namaste India Summit 2026, which will take place in Delhi, India, on August 15 and 16.
The Indian local guides’ community is already very excited and gearing up for the summit.
To make it more unique and close to our heart, we decided to conduct many small but important challenges for the community.
I am hereby announcing the fresh challenge of logo design, and it will be followed by a T-shirt graphic design challenge for everyone, especially for this landmark event.
Logo Design Challenge
Event: Namaste India Summit 2026
Location: Delhi, India
Dates: August 15–16, 2026
LAST DATE OF SUBMISSION: JUNE 15TH, 2026, MIDNIGHT.
Objective
Design a logo that represents:
- India’s heritage and cultural depth
- Modern innovation and global leadership
- Unity, diversity, and progress
- Unique landmarks of Delhi
What Participants Must Design
1. Logo Design
- Primary logo for Namaste India Summit 2026
- Must work across:
- Digital platforms
- Print materials
- Merchandise
- The submitted image should be
- Scalable: The logo can take on any shape as long as it doesn’t exceed the 100 mm diameter. You must make sure that any text or elements in your design are readable and clear because the design may be reduced to as small as 30 mm in diameter.
- Memorable
- Versatile
Color Guidelines (Preferred)
This is just a guideline for you and not a compulsion. If you wish to follow the Indian flag, then the following combination is preferred or suitable:
- Saffron – #FF9933
- India Green – #138808
- India Blue – #0D47A1
- Charcoal – #333333
- Gold accent – #D4AF37
*You may use variations, but maintain harmony. If you’re using the Indian flag, just make sure you respect that while designing and editing. *

NOTE: These are just samples and not the final list of goodies.
Submission Requirements
- Use of any copyrighted elements, images, stock photos, icons, or fonts is prohibited. Please ensure that your design is entirely original and that you have permission to use any elements, images, icons, or fonts from third parties.
- Avoid submitting the direct product of AI. Artificial intelligence (AI) tools can be used to create inspiring ideas.
- All entries must be in either PDF, JPG, JPEG, or PNG format. If you use a particular software to do your designs, please keep your raw design files intact. We will need it later from the winner to make sure that the winning design can be shared easily for printing in an easy-to-edit and necessary print format.
- DO NOT USE just the standard Google logo colors to avoid any close association with that trademark. You can use different tints/tones/shades of the Google colors and add other hues to keep your design fresh and original.
Do not use the official logos of Google (or the words “Google”), Google Maps, or the Local Guides program. You can use the local guides community logo.
* Kindly follow the file naming convention as follows:
If I wish to submit, then my file name would be: “AjitThite-Logo-NIS26-01” ie, it will include “my connect ID-Logo-NIS26-number of submission.”
Just Make Sure:
- Must be original work
- No stock logos or copied elements
- Avoid:
- Overly complex designs
- Cluttered layouts
- Must be readable at all sizes
- Just remember, any such violations will lead to disqualification

- Visual impact & memorability
- Simplicity & scalability
- Versatility (digital + merchandise)
- Overall presentation
Prizes & Recognition
Winner receives:
- A trophy and Certificate of Excellence at Namaste India Summit 2026
- I will declare the winner in a special post here.
- The design will be used as summit identity
