3. What I love about being a Local Guide: Contributing to google maps is like leaving my footsteps to various places. It gives me satisfaction that many people are being benefitted from my shared information and photos.
4. My favorite thing to explore: I love to travel. I like to explore historical places. Seas and hills attract me the most. I very much like to explore the restaurants around me, especially buffet restaurants.
5. Fun fact about me: My nick name is Srabon/Shrabon which is the fourth month of the Bengali calendar. I love to collect coins and notes of different countries which is, I think, the best hobby I possess.

I can confirm that it is a lot of fun to meet fellow local guides.
Google does not allow us to search for Local Guides in Google Maps and on Connect to protect our privacy.
There is a private message system here on Connect.
And in your settings, you can choose up to 3 Favorite locations here on Connect. This will help you spot posts from local guides in those cities of interest should they choose to mark their posts with a city name.
It is not a perfect solution.
You can also do a normal search for country and city names here on Connect.
And finally, you can filter pages on Connect to see posts in a specific language. Find out how here.

PS: Some Local Guides have added some form of contact information in their Google Maps profile text. This might also be helpful. Or you might be lucky that some Local Guides are using the same name on Facebook or Instagram, which also could be helpful.

আমার সবচেয়ে বেশি ভাললাগা বিষয় গুলো হচ্ছে ছবি তুলা, চিত্রাংকন করা, সাইকেল চালানো, google মানচিত্রে নিয়মিত অবদান রাখা। সবগুলো মিলিয়ে যেমন: আমি বাইসাইকেল করে আমার আশেপাশের শহরটা পুরোটা ঘুরে সুন্দর সুন্দর ছবিগুলো তুলে গুগল মানচিত্রে আপলোড করি। বিভিন্ন ফ্যাক্ট চেক করি নিজে ভিজিট করে। লোকাল গাইডিং করা আমার খুব পছন্দের একটি কাজ যদিও এই কাজটি করতে গেলে কমিউনিটিতে বিভিন্ন মানুষের বিভিন্ন মন্তব্য শুনতে হয়। তখন তাদের মন্তব্যে আমি একটি জবাব সব সময় দেই “আমি গুগল থেকে সেবা গ্রহণ করি, আমি গুগলকে সেবা প্রদান করি”। হাস্যকর মন্তব্য হলেও আমি চাই পাখির মত উড়ে উড়ে পুরো বিশ্বকে নিজ চোখে ভ্রমন করতে।
অন্যদের মন্তব্যে আমি আমার একটি ভালো গুণের কথা বেশি শুনি। অন্যরা বলে আমি অনেক সুন্দর ছবি আঁকতে পারি।

Hey @1234569 Welcome to Guides connect. I think this is your 1st post (sorry if i am wrong). Yes i have been to Hawaii in 2013 and it’s a fantastic place to relax and unwind. Seen Oahu and the Big island. Still have to explore other islands such as Maui & Kauai. Yes i agree if given the chance everyone should visit Hawaii, it’s a beautiful island with some amazing beaches.

I personally never been to Hawaii also if I wish to be there once, but this is a global huge family where for sure there are Local Guides who have been there, for example you can read the recent Trip to Disney’s Aulani resort in O’ahu from Traci or search for other similar posts.

Perhaps why don’t you describe us your travelling experience in a separate post. Which places have you visited? Which activities have you done there? Any local recommendation about that or also any special food you would like to tell us about?
I love being a local guide because it allows me to share beautiful pictures of places I visit, and I also feel obliged to tell people about my experience of a place.
I love seeing and taking pictures of landmarks, cathedrals and monumental places.
I am pretty adventurous with food, and I like trying different delicacies. My taste bud is quite accommodating, lol
