It was on 28th August that @Kristen_NYC first introduced this interesting idea of #LG10ScavengeHunt and the Let’s Roam app that facilitates this.

It is a fun filled activity that helps build team spirit and camaraderie. The activities suggested in the app are very interesting too!

@K.K.Sharma from India and a very active LG was first to get off the block and organised a virtual meetup to discuss How to participate and organize Scavenger Hunt meet-ups.

How to get plan and Get approval for #LG10ScavengerHunt

I could not attend this meet up because of prior commitments but the recap cleared lots of doubts in my mind.

Subsequently @K.K.Sharma planned and got approval for the Scavenger meet in Delhi

As far as I can make out this is the second #LG10ScavengeHunt to be organised. If I am wrong, I may please be corrected.

The first is being organised in Mexico on 6th September by CM @LaloPadilla .

First #LG10ScavengerHunt

This is the first #LG10ScavengeHunt in India to be followed by one by dear friend and LG @Rahul001 on 14th September in Trivandrum

A Whatsapp group has been created for the Hunters for Delhi #LG10ScavengeHunt. The venue is the iconic and most visited foodie destination in Delhi- Chandni Chowk. One of the most active LG groups on Whatsapp we have been sharing tips on preparing for the #LG10ScavengeHunt and making it successful

A list of places that have been serving great food , some for more than 100 years has been compiled as collaborative effort by @Shalz @K.K.Sharma and me.

We are planning to explore these and many such locations on 7th September together with @K.K.Sharma @Kumaarsantosh @Shalz @Gvipin @Ruchee2 @Hemendu @Nomad_Enkay and other LGs

An unofficial meetup was organised last night for last minute preparations. Tasks have been allotted and we are eagerly looking forward to 7th September

Thank you @curatorofmemory ji :folded_hands: for sharing this wonderful post. I would like to humbly add one more point – the Delhi Scavenger Hunt meet-up was the first Scavenger Hunt to be approved on Connect. It received approval on 30th August (night of 29th).

This makes it not only the first in India but also the first officially approved Scavenger Hunt meet-up on Connect. :blush:

@Kumaarsantosh ji, the credit goes to you. Before I took the initiative on Connect, I had consulted you, and with your encouragement to “go ahead,” I initiated it. So, while I may be visible for this initiative on Connect, you are the true guiding force behind the curtain.

Thank you @Nomad_Enkay, I always notice on Connect that whenever there’s a recap of a meet-up held in Delhi, you are always there in the photographs. You never miss a chance to attend a meet-up and support the host. I also saw this during the Delhi Mega Meetup—when I reached quite early before the scheduled time, you were already busy cutting and giving shape to the selfie point.

Thank you @Shalz for your motivation. In spite of the adverse circumstances you faced, you are still supporting the community through your active participation. From Contributors Conversation held in Gurugram Google office to the Delhi Mega Meetup and the Chandni Chowk Scavenger Hunt, your consistent presence is truly commendable.

I really appreciate knowing that you are a food explorer who loves to highlight foodie places for others. Thank you for adding the famous food spots of Chandni Chowk to the Google Maps list. This list will definitely be very helpful for everyone visiting Delhi 6.

@Ruchee2, I really appreciate your learning approach. Not only in this Scavenger Hunt, but I have also observed earlier that while drafting a Connect post, you consulted community members about the tags to be used. Personally, I felt that your initial view and the tag you had chosen were already perfect, but still you considered all the advice and gave thoughtful attention to it.

On the 7th, you are also traveling a long distance to attend this Scavenger Hunt, which shows your enthusiasm. Along with that, your presence and active dialogue reflect the way you continue to support the community.
