How do I receive my perks

I have been notified of receiving perks such as the Google Drive space upgrade, but my Account still remains at 15GB. How do I apply my reward? I’m on level 5

What do you mean with “I have been notified”.

Have you received an email recently from Google or it is something you have read somewhere else?

As far as I know, the promotion for upgrade the storage for a limited period of time has expired long time ago.

There is the possibility to upgrade your storage through Google One, but it is not a perk: How your existing storage works with Google One

Thank you for asking about Google One perk for Local Guides. Unfortunately this perk expired at the end of February, as per the deadline in your invitation email. We cannot provide an extension.

The Local Guides program is constantly evolving. Perks may be offered from time to time. To maximize your chances of being eligible for a future perk opportunity, continue to add high quality contributions to Google Maps. Please also be sure that your email preferences have perks emails enabled by visiting your Local Guides settings.

I’m sorry that the promotion you mentioned expired years ago.

If you search for “perks” you will find a lot of info but not many perks.

Points are showing your status of Local Guide, as you can read in Points, levels, and badging

Local Guides cannot redeem points in exchange for product/services, but you may receive perks.

Please read how you can Get recognized

About the free storage you mentioned in your post, this is a very old promotion, that expired years ago, as already mentioned by @MortenCopenhagen

I have received Google perk as six month free subscription of Google one. But I cannot redeem it. What is the meaning of giving something which I cannot use. Better Google give something which we can use and present to others as a prize from Google for what we can feel proud. Also do not give anything to the Google guides which they can not use. Give some paid software, goods for their everyday use or facilities they can use. Like if you give Redbus voucher where Redbus service is not available, is has no use.

Hi @huyhuy storage and Google One membership have been offered as perks from time to time. This is not currently offered. Make sure under https://maps.google.com/localguides/home/settings you’ve ticked the box to be notified about perks that you can apply for.

I heard that after reaching level 5 on rewards, one gets Google guide T-shirt and 1 Tb G drive storage with gift vouchers but didn’t received any email regarding it.

Regarding your questions, you are referring to a very old source

As you can read in Drive storage promotion has endedDrive Storage was a promotion we offered Local Guides from 2015 through March 2017. It was last offered to Local Guides who reached Level 4 by March 17, 2017 and redeemed it within 30 days, as detailed in our announcement post.

Regarding the t-shirts, here is the official reply to your questions: “Local Guides t-shirts were given to Level 4+ Local Guides who reached Level 4+ by a certain date in 2015 and they lived in markets where it was possible to ship. That was a one time thank you gift.
