As part of Earth Hour Challenge and Reduce Reuse Recycle, an initiative by @Kumaarsantosh, this post will be about how we can make Google Maps more sustainable by adding Recycling bins/vending machines or Smart Waste Bins to Google Maps.

How to add Recycling Waste Bins or Vending Machines to Google Maps.

Since there’s no category for Recycling Vending Machine in Google Maps, We can add category as “Recycling Drop-off Location” which can be also used for recycling specific waste bins.

Share how you add Recycling Waste bins or vending machines to Google Maps in this Earth Hour Challenge. Also tell in the comments how you going to celebrate Global Recycling Day on coming March 18th.

Excellent initiative dear @Rahul001 :+1:

I realized that having initiated this a few years back, I gave up because there was no one else to accompany me - but no longer.

Along with you and @Kumaarsantosh, this has gathered momentum, and I am back to adding new ones to Google Maps.

Here are the previous ones in my neighborhood:

The best part of these bins is the way they illustrate through pictures which waste goes into which compartment :+1: very innovative and helpful

Discription:- Ever since our honourable Prime Minister has started the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, I definitely try to take a picture of dustbin wherever I can and try to see what creativity is there in it. So we went to McDonald’s three days ago, so I took this picture there and what I found special in this dustbin is their multipurpose size dustbin.
