Eagle nest is best point in Hunza for sunrise and sun set photography. Here is a Mountain which exactly looks like an eagle so its name is drive from this rock.
From main Hunza you can go their easily 4x4 jeeps are recommended I took my 800cc car there although road is very steep and my friends have to got out of car 2 times and push the car so we reach on the top.
Eagles Nest is located on Duikar view point in Hunza valley, from Altit fort its distance is almost 6 km and it takes almost 20 to 25 minutes due to steep Ascend, but local drivers with 4x4 jeeps can reach in 15 minutes after jeep road there is a steep hike of 15 minutes required.
My kids are also with me, I was little bit worried about kids but they reached on the top before me.
The height of Eagle Nest is about 10000 feet above sea level where tourist visit in early morning for sunrise and evening for sunset.
