Diksal Waterfall Adventure - Monsoon Adventure Challenge

Namaste :folded_hands:

Here’s one more entry to @DurgaK03’s Monsoon Adventure Challenge and also to the Wonders of Waterfall by @Kumaarsantosh

Diksal Waterfall is a hidden gem near Bhivpuri, Maharashtra, just a couple of hours from Mumbai. To get there, you can take a local train to Bhivpuri Road station, and from there it’s a short trek through lush greenery, small villages, and streams that lead you straight to the stunning waterfall.

I joined an adventure trek organized by Mahadurg Adventure, and the highlight was definitely the rappelling experience. Imagine descending down the roaring waterfall with the spray hitting your face, it’s pure thrill! The organizers provided all the gear, safety instructions, and guidance, making it exciting yet safe even for beginners.

My brother-Shubham went rappelling down the cliff like a pro, I decided to try too, and the rain started pouring, Lucky me, I got saved by rappelling down in the rain :joy::sweat_droplets: What an adventure!

The Drone shots are taken by very talented trekker Chetan Jadhav.

If you’re looking for a mix of trekking, adrenaline, and natural beauty, Diksal with Mahadurg Adventure is a perfect weekend escape

Rappling down the mountain without rain is easier but under the waterfall and that too in rain is quite challenge

I’m glad you liked it @Annaelisa

Sure @br14n , Do visit India in Monsoon, we will explore the Sahyadri mountain range and adventurous activity too :raising_hands:

The water falls on face and the pressure is also high but the experience is something words can’t express. @MathanVibranarayan

Do visit Sahyadri mountain range in monsoon, you’ll be awestruck with some reverse waterfalls too

This looks absolutely stunning and situated at an impressive height. Thank you, @SayliWalve, for sharing and featuring it under #WonderOfWaterfalls.

Just curious - are Diksal Waterfall and Bekare Waterfall the same?

No, They both are in Karjat area but base villages are different for each , Diksal Comes under Sonachi Wadi and Bekare village has Bekare waterfall.

There are so many waterfall in Karjat range
