Coron or El Nido (Philippines Budget & timewise)

Palawan is definitely a place to go to if you want to experince luxurios but cheap clear seas.

Most people would be torn between El Nido and Coron. They’re both facing West Philippines sea but on a diffremt Islands. I’ll break down the pro’s and con’s for you:

El Nido Pro’s:

  1. There’s more island to hop
  2. You can see other attractions since your flight will land an Puerto Princesa
  3. You get to include “Underground River” on your bucket list
  4. You get to know Palawan’s culture by doing a city trip in Puerto Princesa

Cons:

  1. There is no airport in El nido, you have to land in Puerto princesa and drive for about 4-5 hours to reach the Island.
  2. You might have more expenses since theres a lot of attractions and things to do in the city

Coron Pro:

  1. There’s a direct flight from manila - coron (busuanga)
  2. You get to enjoy and know the island deeper.

Cons:

  1. There isn’t much activities within the Island

Hope this helps!
