Bio Degradable Cutlery : Sustainable Dining At It's Best

Dear Local Guides Community,

As part of the Ditch Plastic Spoons at Restaurants series initiated by our very own @KetanChhaniyara I would like to share my own experience of visiting the Carnatic Cafe located inside the beautiful Sunder Nursery in New Delhi.

Carnatic Cafe is a pure Veg South Indian restaurant located inside the Sunder Nursery complex. Their decor, ambience and food are quite good. One noteworthy feature of this restaurant is that all the food they serve is through 100% bio Degradable Cutlery, which includes spoons, plates, cups and small bowls. Once used, all these cutlery go into the dustbins which are located nearby. They do not use plastic in any of their cutlery.

My Review of the Place.

Seeing the adverse effects of plastic use and their blatant disposal into our water resources, I believe this restaurant has started a great initiative to ditch plastic spoons and contribute to sustainable dining and environmental conservation.

Thank you @KetanChhaniyara for giving us an opportunity to showcase sustainable dining restaurants in our locality.

Regards,
