The facility of using a website is considered a right. Citizens of any country preserve the right to surf or access a website. But the Person with Disability (PwD) may face problems while surfing a website that is not made with accessibility features for them.
Bangladesh is one of the countries among 164 that have signed the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). As part of this government is working to make public places more accessible for disabled people. As a result, we see Bus stands, river ports, railway stations in Bangladesh with accessibility features. In addition, govern has made a central website, where the information of more than 25000 government offices is found. Fortunately, this central website and other websites under this have some important accessibility features that can make these sites comfortable to use by any PwD. All of these accessibility features are available on every website of the government. In this post, we see those accessibility features.
Font Size: From this feature, a PwD can maximize or minimize the font size of this website.
Font size options are at the top (3 A). A- decrease size, A0 normal size, A+increase size
Monochrome: helps the colorblind or a person with a similar problem to surf the web comfortably. The outlook of a monochrome website can be White, Black, or Grey.
