2025 was a year that brought me back to the Local Guides community.
At first, I was focused mainly on my work as a content creator in Cambodia.
I was creating content, traveling, and working on projects.
But at some point, I realized that what I do is not only content — it can also help the community.
When I came back to Local Guides Connect, honestly, I didn’t know how to start.
I didn’t know what to post or how active I should be.
What made me stay was the motivation, welcome, and support from other Local Guides here.
What I did in 2025
- Led and organized Local Guides meet-ups (in-person & hybrid) across Cambodia
- Ran Google Maps editing activities and Mega Edit Marathons
- Worked on fixing wrong data, fake locations, and map problems
- Shared ideas and requested features to improve the platform
- Actively shared posts, replies, and supported other Local Guides
- Used my content creation skills to document and share community work

What I learned in 2025
- Community grows through consistent actions, not just big moments
- Local Guides need more regular communication, not only motivation posts
- Connect is more than an online space — it can lead to real-world impact
- Small weekly activities can build stronger communities than one-time events
- Even when you don’t know how to start, community support makes the difference

What I hope to see next

I’m still learning and improving.
But 2025 reminded me why I’m here — to contribute, connect, and help build something meaningful together.
