We are villagers...and our life back then was endless loafing, cycling, exploring, robbing neighbourhood tamarind, cherries, borran, torran, ambli..
Of course on a village loaf you can try your luck at getting hold of some tamarind or mango tree or pluck cherries during season. Besides, you will
criss-cross narrow paths laced with rice fields, vast open meadows & gentle backwaters dotted with villagers fishing, ladies picking shell fish,
swaying palms, hopping by bare-stone bridges, grande mansions, unknown churches & temples, chicken scurrying around, roosters perched on
the wall, Torrcato chasing pigs...
You will experience first-hand the bazaar buzz at the tinto, pluck seasonal jamuns & kandan’s, fish with bamboo stick, sip freshly plucked coconut water, slurp on kanji the toca-boca way, draw well water, pick fresh pão from the poder, down a kopp at the taverna, lunch on a balcão,
walk over the chaar mannos, sing cantaraan’s with the serenaders on a dongor as the evening's softness descends into the village, retire as the angelus bell tolls....

A leisurely pasoi around a quaint fountain-locality.
How we loafed & played chor-police around these lanes & homes, dropping a coin in the wishing well, running around the numerous staircase scattered all around the monte, getting yelled at during our school days.
Did you know that Fontainhas hosts a natural spring right in the midst of Goa's capital? And deep inside the 50 mtr. tunnel, locals perform ladainha
(litany) even today! Once a marshy swamp, today it is the charming vintage-world locality called Fontainhas - Latin Quarters.
Fontainhas weaves its magic thu' the heart of Panjim, concealing a hundred stories waiting to be told. Saunter down it's nostalgic narrow lanes, colourful European-style homes that locals have pledged to preserve. You will tread in & out of dreamy galleries, schools, cafes, quaint tavernas, restaurants, old-world shops, bakeries, goldsmiths, visit to a local home for a chat, et al. Some antique & curio shopping later, let's dine at a centuries-old clube...

Hi there,
Is this your company?
Is it your hobby?
Is it related to google maps?
The ideas and photos are interesting, but I didn't understand the ...."base" of the organization.

This read to me like an advertisement for your company (ie: for pay).
I THOUGHT that ads for companies was not appropriate for this site/thread.
BUT - I am new, too - so maybe it is aok.
learning as I go, too.

This write up to me is captivating, I love every bits of your story @mackthelocal but it's spam, you need to edit it.
...on connect, we don't advertise, we share ideas, interests, and basically connect with one another. You can try using the map to showcase your company, you would get a larger audience on the map.
Sincerely I love this piece of writing.
Cheers!
