When we like to celebrate in Germany any occasion is fine for us. Today there was a big bonfire 🔥 here in Pullach. Somehow it is related to summer solstice, but in this case the Germans are not very punktuell. (Like with the Octoberfeste we start in September 😉)
So while lighting the fire we figure out what is in the barrel. You only can get a one liter glass and it has to been ordered „Einen Maß bitte“.
When the bonfire is lighted all people start to enjoy!
Normally at this time the most Germans already sleep, but today is a great „Meet Up“ in Pullach.
As we care always about security of course all is monitored by the fire brigade.
The young people enjoy music in a tent, where are also Cocktails 🍸.
Due to an unknown reason (maybe the fire brigade use it???) the barrels disappeared.
And the tradition has had an end.
Most of them already sleep 😴.
Germany is very diverse and I like all of this!

@TorM It seems like a fun event, and I really liked the way you narrated it.
Thank for sharing! And for adding a sentence in German too, it was very interesting to me as I'm learning the language ☺️

Hi @TorM
Thank you for sharing an informative post and so beautiful photos.
In my country we have the same fiesta that's name is Saddeh.
I try to write about it next.
Best Regards
