November is the month in which in Treviso starts the collection of the Red Radicchio, better known as "the gold of Treviso".

This Radicchio is very well known all around the world as the best radicchio variety

IGP means "Indicazione Geografica Protetta" . In English PGI (Protected Geographical Indication)

The color of the Radicchio di Treviso, its elongated shape, the sweet and crunchy taste, make it a unique and unmistakable

Radicchio fresh from the Farm

Radicchio can be eaten fresh or cooked, with a huge variety of recipes

Red and bitter outside, white and sweet insideBefore the owen

I like to cook it in the oven, with a slice of smoked ham rolled around
