Hi @ChristyFromCanada,
Posting photos to Google Maps is really easy !
After you've selected a place on Google Maps, you should see "Add a photo". You can now take a new photo OR choose one you took before.
But because it is easy does not mean you have to post everything.
Try to make your photos beautiful so you have more chances to be visible and to reach a lot of views if that's what you want.
Here are some photography tips from Google Local Guides YouTube channel 😉

I'll be lucky to get one viewer.
How do people know how many viewers they get?
How do they know if ten people see your photographs, or ten thousand?

Thank you!
How do you give someone kudos, if you are using a tablet?

When you are logged in and go to Google Maps, you can go to your contributions in the side left menu. Click on photos and then you can see the views your photos make.

Just goes to show, the picture means nothing anymore. Blur, camera shake. Never should have been accepted to Maps. BUT they want bad pictures to train A.I. so you are in! Best time in history of the world; when no ability at all gets recognised. Congratulations to your parents! They choose your time well.
