automated warning before being suspended from Local Guides

As a moderator I can't count the number of times when angry person X has approached me about being banned either on socials via DM or here on Connect via a "friend"'s account (usually as well disguised as the 10 year olds note to the P.E. teacher - Dear Sir Johnny can't to sport today signed My Mum). Generally people aren't warned when they behave poorly and step outside the Local Guides Rules, Maps Content Policy or other guidelines.

Being suspended if you're a continual rule breaker is fair. But sometimes it happens because people just don't know they are doing something bad like sharing selfies, sharing the same photo of an atm to 100 atms, etc.

I wonder if perhaps a mechanism could be built into the app. For the lesser evils, when something bad is found (by algorithm or human) a message could go to the person and give them the specific violation item(s) and give them some time to correct them before the suspension comes into effect. They then get to make a choice, remove the offending items or suffer the consequences. An in app toast is likely better than an email and more likely to be seen.

Note that for the major evils like hijacking a Maps entry or spamming (Packers and Movers anyone?) they just go right away like they do now.

Hello friends! In google connect, when they feel some misuse, whenever they want they suspend google guide's account. It should not be done. We should at least know the reason. and a warning must be given to us, local guides do much hard work.

Hello @Ravistudent09,

Thank you for sharing your idea.

Please note that a similar one has been already suggested here - automated warning before being suspended from Local Guides. For that reason, I will merge yours to it together with its votes.

I just recommend you before you submit an idea to search the community. It’s possible that someone else has already submitted the same one, so you can show your support by voting for that idea.

Should make slight policy changes especially for local guide acconts. Sometimes google doing( account Rejection, account blocking, blocking all reviews, blocking all photos ) for violating " google policies".

My opinion, it is a severe action.

(Google can give security warning, alert, red mark, removal    actions etc.

Punishing the whole or area Instead of solving a marked violation.

It is a suggestion only. Because most of the google map updations are doing "without having the help and cooperation of public".

Most of the time we are questioned by public and even our friends also.

 1.  Hey, who entrusted you to take photos, doing reviews and updations?

2..Do you have a valid identity cards?

3. Are you enjoying any salary or remuneration?

4. We know that " nobody works for free, ""all things for remuneration and salary only?

We are still doing updations beyond this situations and difficulties only.

""" a slight policy change and application update should comes. " and please avoid severe actions. Thank you
