Deleting multiple photos and report multiple photos at the same time

Something that could be very very useful is the multiple photoes deletion option, because it is easy to upload duplicates of the same photo, due to an error of the server or what else.
Sometimes I find places with a lot of photos that are not of that place or with other wrong content; I have to report them individually and it could take very long time.

Hi @FrancMthank you for sharing this idea. It is not something the team is able to implement at this time; therefore, I will change the status to "Closed".

@Atsukot  it's a pity that the team is not able to implement this, because it would be a very useful feature for every Local Guide.

Hello! !

All.

We often uploading photos on google maps, as a local guide or google map user we need to report fake&fruad photos and that photos who didn't following the google Maps contributer policy, so we need to reporting that all.

And keep clean the google Maps.

On some places there are huge amount of fake photos available. For example more than 500 to 1000.

Now, based on current functionality of google Maps, we are able to report one photo at one time.

And we are only able to select one reason for reporting one photo.

My idea is that apply multiple selection in google Maps photos and videos.

It's saves our time and efforts.

Means we are able to select more than 1 photos & videos at one time.

Multiple Selection of photos &videos  for reporting.

I fully support this idea.

Having just visited Edinburgh and found 100s of instances where people have uploaded their random holiday photos to specific tourist attractions despite the attraction in question not being in the photo I'd welcome any way to report these in bulk.

I presume this is due to Google suggesting they upload the images to that location as they were nearby rather than malicious intent but it's frustrating all the same.

That said when I have reported images I'm not always convinced anything happens anyway.

Thank you so much. @turbotapeworm

It's must needed.

@KishorMali when you need to report a lot on one profile you can simply report the entire profile. See this post that perhaps you missed for more information https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/Announcements/You-can-now-report-entire-profiles-for-abuse-on-...

Note this is also a duplicate idea. We love that you're sharing your ideas but please search before you post a new one. You can still vote on an existing idea even if it is closed.

@PaulPavlinovich - I've raised a suggestion previously regarding a free text field for us to explain why we're reporting an entire profile. In this situation where a number of images are incorrectly assigned to a location how would a report of the entire profile be handled?

How would the person (or AI) viewing the report know what to do? How would they know that a local guide that knows a place has identified an image isn't of it?

I really feel the process needs some focus points adding to ensure reports can be handled effectively.

All of the profiles are checked by humans after they are reported @turbotapeworm they are likely to see the same issue you did.

You might consider raising your own idea for the supporting text. I think I've seen it before though, so search first and vote on that one (even if it is closed).

This is not the duplicate idea. @PaulPavlinovich

If you find similar then feel free to merge my this idea.

Different people uploading fake photos on google Maps, in that case we don't need to report their entire profile.

I had reported many profiles also. But in many cases different fake photos are uploaded. So we need multiple selection.

Regarding your comment,

My friend @Robert24 also published his idea about multiple Reason for photos &videos.

I am confused after reading your comment.@PaulPavlinovich

Thanks fof the clarification @PaulPavlinovich, it's great to hear there's human involvement 🙂

I already raised a suggestion about the free text / justification for the report field so fingers crossed it happens one day to make it easier fir the humans to see why a profile has been reported.
