Re: Traveling Like a Local - Italy - Montagnana - Exploring the walled city

No it wasn't really @KarenVChin

I was so fortunate to visit the city in the day of the "springtime fair", a huge Street market, that was just Outside the wall, all around the town.

So all people was thereDSC05913.jpg

I am a lucky man 😉

We arrived just before lunch, so the center of the town was very quiet, for the first two hours

Then, after lunch, we moved away from the crowd

My goodness, this is wonderful! Thanks for sharing, including the Google photo album. I could live happily and endlessly at that Spring Festival. One perspective we don't get in the States is the history of these buildings. The thought of seeing a standing building built in the 1200's alone would be awesome.

Dear Sir @ErmesT

Great article. Thank you very much for your historical post.

Here i share 360° Photography  Shalban Vihara. Shalban Vihara is an archaeological site in Mainamati, Cumilla, Bangladesh.

The ruins are in the middle of the Lalmai hills ridge, and these are of a 7th-century Paharpur-style Buddhist viharas with about 100 cells for monks. It operated through the 12th century. Excavations have revealed many archaeological artifacts dated to between the 7th and 12th centuries. Most of them are kept in the Mainamati Museum now.
