Can i add this to my CV for job interview?

I have completed level 5 which is 1518 points.is it any benefits for me?

Hi @Shibananda

You can add "I'm a Level 5 Maps Local Guide" in your Hobbies Section.

But not expect a Google Effect on your application file.

You just give a true information to recruiter that you're selfless and volunteer.

And if your recruiter is himself a LG it can help you to get points 😀

Long year ago (20/25 years), I sent a CV to an accounting firm (I was an Accountant).

A get a date and during almost all the interview we spoke about Muay Thai !

Because my recruiter was himself a Thai boxer and like this sport.

And I get the job thanks to a simple sentence in my CV : Muay Thai Coach

But do not put " I have completed level 5 which is 1518 points.is it any benefits for me".

Saw someone using LG status as work position in "Google" on LinkedIn profile: this is not true and not worth at all.

My suggestion, is to keep your CV update to the key requirements of the job position you are applyng to.

When I write up a CV I only include information relevant to the job. Many employers are community focused and might see Local Guides as an asset.
