If you were lucky enough to get a free space on Google Drive in the past, now you probably have a problem when your gift expires!

You have your data on Drive but you can't upload anymore until you delete or download your data from Drive...

This is also the general solution for those Local Guides who don't have money to pay extra space.

You just need to make few more Google Accounts but do not forget to protect your Google Accounts with mobile phone verification and two-step protection.

I have one question @Anonymous.

Of total free space of 100 GB I have filled 35 GB only.

Also, google provides 15 GB free drive for each account.

It means there is total of 115 GB drive and only 35 GB is filled.

I want to know that in which section that 35 GB data is stored.

Is it 35 GB out of 100 GB? Or 15 GB is filled at first and then remaining 20 GB is filled in 100 GB space?

Well @BishowvijayaP,

When your extra space Gift expire (100GB) you will have only 15 GB "free", it is mean that you have 35GB data on your Drive but you can have 15GB max...but you cant keep 15 GB because it is a maximum.

Just make 3 more Accounts and transfer your data to additional Drives, free up space from your main account and you will be good 🙂

With 3 Drives you will have 45GB free space...or more if you make more 😉

@Anonymous although I own hundreds of G accounts... I'm not sure that this is something to be suggested here! 😄

Anyway, to reach my 1Tb space... this could be an hard way to follow!

I know what you mean @LucioV, but Local Guides got this gift From Google Local Guides and this is a solution for them after this gift expires... 🙂

And yes for 1TB it is not that much easy...but I am not even able to upload 1TB with my internet speed it will take few mounts 🙂

However, it is not illegal to use Drive of your wife, child or your private Google Account or to transfer data to Dropbox etc. 🙂

It's really nice.. actually I'm moving some folders from a dropobox to a gdrive, to free space.

Do you know if the move thread, once launched, keep working server side when i close the session on my browser?
