Hey.
Do anyone use their local guide level to get better hotel price?
Tell the hotels that you will write a review and take pictures etc. What are your experience, and what arguement do you use?

No we don't @EirikB
Local guides is a volunteer activity, no money is related to what we do, not as payment nor as discount.
It happens to some member that the owner of a business can offer a present after a nice review, but is against the rules to use the local guides status for having a better price.
Hope this is just a speculative conversation, and you don't know anyone doing that.
