Accessibility:How to spot an accessible place or product

Accessibility:
Have you ever wondered how people with disability are able or unable to move around freely unassisted in our community?
What about children, persons with broken legs, parents with prams, elderly persons, patients etc?

How do private and public infracture cater for : (a) Wheelchair users
(b) People with limited walking abilities
(c) The sightless
(d) The partially sighted
(e) The hearing impaired

Does organization provide the following to assist people with disability or limited mobility?
1. Ramps
2. Elevators
3. Platform lifts
4. Stairs
5. Railings and handrails
6. Entrances
7. Vestibules
8. Doors
9. Corridors
10. Rest rooms .

Accessibility is the word used to describe whether a place , service or product (e.g bus, building, website ) can be used by people of all abilities and disabilities.

For example, a train or website is accessible if all people, including abled, disabled and elderly people, can use it. .

As Local Guides, we are always looking to ensure that accessibility information are added to Google Maps in order to make it usable by all. .

Re: Accessibility:How to spot an accessible place or product

@EmekaUlor es importante incluir este tipo de información en todos los lugares que existen en nuestras ciudades. Quizás sea bueno evaluar los tipos de pisos porque existen superficies que impiden un tránsito fluido de personas con movilidad limitada
