Today I won’t talk about any place or location. It will be a off-topic. Gardening hasn’t always had an impact in my life. Although We have a small rooftop garden on our house. It was first started by my parents after we build our own house. So I will not steal their credits. They started it out of happiness and joy they felt after owning a house, Planted small flower trees as flowers has an important role in PUJAs in our culture.
Now as I grow older and face new problems and struggling with so many adulthood problems, gardening gives me a bit of hope. A hope that time will heal every scar, it will solve the puzzle. We will gain new brunches just like my Paperflower aka Bougainvillea.
When I planted it looks like this, Now look how beautiful it is. It is so nice to see it growing, blooming flowers, achieving new height. It helps me with all the bad things.
Everything about gardening I learned from my parents.
I have seen people using artificial things, pesticide for their plants. But we don’t use those. Everything is organic as much as we can. The soil in the boxes is about a decade or more old. But it’s still feeding our plants.
May be it is the love and care we have given to them. that’s why I think its an art. An art that can only be learned with time. Just like we learn various things in every stage of life. THANK YOU FOR READING. I HAVE SHARED SOME PLANT AND TREE PICTURES BELOW WE HAVE PLANTED.
Hi @Ankan_S
Beautiful photos. However you are right, it would be Off Topic in Connect.
For this reason, instead of removing it, I am merging your post on Your Flowers in Google Maps - The Local Guides Garden - Seventh edition , where the Local Guides from all over the world are sharing their world through the flowers. Can you kindly add some additional information about the places to make it relevant for our Community?
Ruže u prosincu…
Fotografiju sam snimila prije nekih pola sata u našem vrtu.
8.12. je i ruže još uvijek cvatu! Nevjerojatno!!!
Hi @renata1
Your roses are indeed beautiful. Me too I still have roses blooming in December in the garden of my house.
However as you know Connect is a Community reserved for contents that are related to the Local Guides Program.
For this reason I am merging your post on Your Flowers in Google Maps - The Local Guides Garden - Seventh edition, where other lovers of flowers like you and me are sharing their flowers, enriching in this way the “Garden of the world”
Thank you very much, dear LG friend Renata…
The Roses are really impressive and beautiful…
However, your photo is merged…
Thanks also for tagging me…
Most sincerely
This is exactly the reason why I created, and I update every year, this topic. To avoid to have the roses of @renata1 removed, and the same for the flowers of other Local Guides.
However we all know that our posts in Connect should be related to our experience as Local Guides. There are ways to make it on topic, e.g. by reading the main post where I associate the flowers to the Locations.
The same happens to other Popular Topics, where we merge all the posts about that subject (e.g. The Moon, sunsets and sunrises, and so on)
Thank you very much for your kind response and detailed explanation, respected Ermest Ji…
I’m well aware of both the points explained in your reply.
Once again thank you… Ji
Most sincerely…
