I honestly use Local Guides to help people in the middle east to use google maps more often, as it’s not widely used in here so this encourages them to use it more so that they no longer get lost, or no longer have to ask someone on the street for directions, and it also helps small businesses which help the user find more restaurants, shops, cafes, etc…

In Colombia, my homecountry, people do not use it as much as we do in the United States. Good point. And remember, there is always someone taking advantage of what you write, whether in Egypt or somewhere else. ما سلامة
