When in Delhi, Hide in Delhi

Hide in Delhi is a laid-back hostel located on a residential street in D-Block of Saket.

It was a 5-minute walk from the Saket metro station, and 2 km from the NIV Art Center, where I attended the India Local Guides Mega meetup last week.

They have mixed-gender or female-only rooms, and also bunk beds with lockers.

Some rooms have balconies and/or privacy screens.

The taps, washbasins, buckets, towel, and mug were in good condition.

The toiletries were of good quality and in enough quantity.

Staying in Hide-In Delhi was an amazing experience of any hostel I had in the past 10 years.

The access and facilities were helpful and easy.

The staff was friendly and supportive.

The room was clean and in tiptop condition.

This was the best hostel experience so far.

Amenities include free Wi-Fi, a billiards room, a reading room, and a library.

I highly recommend staying in the hostel.

The only downside is the lack of a lift elevator, which makes reaching the 2nd and 3rd floors a bit challenging, especially with luggage.

:airplane: How to Reach

The nearest metro is the Saket station on the Yellow Line of the New Delhi Metro.

From Nizamuddin Railway Station, I took the Pink Line and changed to the Yellow Line at Dilli Haat. Then walk to the hostel in 5 minutes.

:shallow_pan_of_food: Where to Eat

There are countless food joints near the Saket Metro Station, though I had my lunch at the meetup that was sponsored by Google. So I have no specific recommendations.

:mushroom: Nearby Attractions

  1. Qutub Minar is a 5-minute walk.
  2. The Garden of Five Senses is also nearby.
  3. Sanderson SunDial.
  4. Unique wall-mounted sundial.
  5. Siri Fort.

Thank you @ShreyaMusings

The only reason I chose to live close to the Metro Station was that I did not want to haggle with the auto drivers at late night to reach the NIV Center.

In the morning, it was fine.

I would have stayed at the same place if I had attended the meet-up. I saw that in Google Maps and saw some YouTube videos.

Good choice, it seems; it looks clean and well-maintained.
Thanks for sharing. @TusharSuradkar .

Cheers!

Absolutely @SarathUpendran @Salanazi5

The homely feel and personal touch that a hostel provides are the primary reasons to choose it over a hotel.

Thank you for the appreciation :+1:
